The Dress

When I was shopping for my wedding dress, I was looking for something elegant, classy, sexy (without being too revealing), timeless, and comfortable. This dress checked all the boxes for me!

The front is classy and form-fitting, while the back features the most GORGEOUS sheer lace with elegant buttons that run down to the train.

The crepe material is high-quality, form-fitting, and heavy so it flatters your figure without revealing every little detail of your body. It's also super comfortable, which was crucial for me. I was easily able to get down on the dance floor with no restrictions!

I know everyone gets compliments on their wedding dresses, but this one really stole the show! I can't tell you how many people reached out asking me where I got it. I was absolutely in love with my wedding dress, and hope to pass it on to someone who loves it as much as I did!

DISCLAIMER:

I got the dress professionally dry cleaned after the wedding. It looks as good as new with a couple minor imperfections on the train, which are barely noticeable unless you're examining it up close. If you want a pure white dress for your wedding day, I'm sure they could be easily spot removed by a professional. But to be honest, any train will get a little dirty the second you step foot in it, and these stains are barely visible. Also, the bustle gave out at the end of a long night of dancing, but any seamstress should easily be able to fix this! Other than those minor imperfections, the dress looks as good as new!

So don’t let the sleek silhouette of this minimalist wedding dress fool you -- it is as structured and deliberate as it is buttery rich and breathable. Aria hugs every curve in the best way possible and hides those nooks and crannies. The crepe fabric is heavy to provide a slimming effect while the seaming details draw the eye downward. It’s geometric detailing was inspired by the constellations that I saw in the sky when developing the concept of this collection.

Alterations

- Hemmed the bottom (while still maintaining the original lace)
- Added cups, which are loosely attached with just a couple threads so that they're not visible and easily removable
- Brought in the waist/chest area. I have a very small bust and frame but did not alter it so that it was tight to my body. There's definitely some room for those who are bustier than me.
