The Dress

This dress was my dream wedding dress, so elegant and feminine. It has a beautiful, swooshy tulle outer skirt with an inner satin skirt featuring a slit over the right leg, a subtle train and a nice scooped, low back. Such a flattering shape and sooo comfortable!

I bought the dress was brand new for $5950 AUD. My wedding was March 2020.

The dress is an Australian size 6, or French size 36.
I actually took the dress off and changed into a playsuit once the ceremony was finished so that the dress would not get ripped or ruined from dancing, so it is truly in very good condition.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and comes packaged in a box for transport. I had it folded before I wore it and it didn't need steaming, just fell into place!

Alterations

I had the tulle of the dress trimmed as it was too long. I kept just a very subtle train at the back. Bra cups were also sewn in (there is a lining in the bodice which it is sewn to), these were invisible when wearing the dress and allowed no chicken fillets or bra to have to be worn while maintaining a lovely shape. The cup would fit size B to C.
All alterations were done professionally by a wedding dress dressmaker in Melbourne.
There were no alterations to the remainder of the dress (Besides the tulle length), so it is true to size.
