The Dress

A stunning, figure-hugging dress which falls in all the right places. The moment I put this dress on, it highlighted all of the right features, and of course, softened the less desirable ones. The dress has a mocha underlay and ivory lace over the top which offered depth to the fabric and worked well with my lighter skin colour. The skirt has multiple layers of light tulle which assisted in giving shape and body at the bottom of the dress; I was able to dance the night away without any issues. I received many compliments from my guests and adoring loved ones who have viewed the photos post-wedding. Our wedding occurred in December 2019.

The small train is able to be bustled up after the ceremony and attached with ease.

The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned post-wedding and there are no stains. Thankfully, nothing was spilled on it on the day. One of the fine tulle layers underneath has a small hole due to the high heel getting caught, this is not noticeable to anyone other than the wearer.

The measurements provided are approximate, as I was 1-2cm smaller on the day. My usually everyday clothes are between an AU8-10.

Alterations

The dress did have some minor, professional alterations throughout the process; namely, the hem length as I am on the shorter size, 159 tall and 165 with the heels on the day. Two small darts were placed in the lower-curve of the back to ensure that it hugged my shape.
