The Dress

This beautiful Helen English gown was custom made from double thickness Ivory Silk with a crepe finish and satin lining at the Sydney designer's Paddington Boutique.

The dress has a low back and scooped neck with spaghetti straps. The dress was so comfortable to wear and hugs in all the right places. The train was made extra long as I am tall and it was stunning from every angle! There is also a finger loop at the bottom for ease of walking and dancing!

The dress was so special and everyone complimented on its' beauty, the side split and hugging fit add that extra style and flare! I wore spanx underwear and the line and fit was flawless throughout the evening.

The bottom 7cms of the front of the dress has some staining that was not removed with dry cleaning and there is 3 small marks midway down the front of the skirt. There is also some marks on the train. However I feel anyone who is shorter than me will be able to remove most of the stains with tailoring, there is so much material to play with! The dress is approximately size 10, I normally wear a size 10 and am 183cm tall and wear a size 12B cup.

I paid $4400 and looking for around $2000, negotiable due to damage. I would love to see someone else in this beautiful gown and feel as amazing as I did!
