The Dress

I wore this dress for less than 3 hours for our very intimate elopement, as COVID made us cancel our original wedding plans. So there was no dancing/drinking/eating in this dress, just photos, an exchanging of vowels and champagne toast with a dance shared between my husband and I. This has been professionally cleaned.

I absolutely loved this dress! The fabric has stretch to it and is very comfortable and flattering. The bow can be done different ways in the back, I did it as a bow but I've seen it done in knots too. The long cathedral train is so dramatic and beautiful. Buttons all down the back, there is a zipper closure and then the top buttons close over the zipper with small elastic closures.

I also am selling my veil and cape that I got to go with this dress. The cape was never worn. They are by Emmy Mae, the veil is Bec and cape is called Daisy (pictured). Cape is size 8. They are not included in the listing price here , but I am open to offers . I paid $430 for the cape and $325 for the veil. They have beautiful embroidery and match with each other. I was going to use the cape for a ceremony look, then ditch it for the reception but since we ended up eloping I kept it simple and didn't wear the cape.
