The Dress

If you want a flattering dress that will make you feel like a million bucks... this is it! This is exactly why I purchased this dress in the first place. I really felt very statuesque, elegant, long and chic. I would (would have) consider myself a modern bride. Not overly traditional and I think this was the perfect dress for the occasion. The asymmetrical bodice really made me feel like my square, athletic body I had a waist. It fit nice and snug in a good way. Hitting and snug at the right spots where I did not have to adjust it throughout the night. Again, very flattering. I added the "blizzard beading" in the roses at the bottom of the dress to give it a little extra sparkle without going overboard on the beading. Originally the dress had a curved or straight neckline and I had the seamstress give me a ever so gentle sweetheart neckline to flatter my bust. I have wonderful memories in this dress and I would love nothing more than to send it to someone who will create just as wonderful memories. I recently had it dry-cleaned and it looks fantastic! After scouring the dress there are only 2 spots from what I can see that did not come out BUT its on an edge of the fabric so if you need to get it hemmed, more than likely it will be removed anyway. I have the authenticity cards as well as the bag that it was purchased in. Please note: The measurements provided are an estimate. I am 5'6'' and wore 3" platform heels.

Alterations

As mentioned in the description the neckline went from straight (or slightly curved due to material) to a subtle sweetheart. In addition, I had the blizzard beading added at an additional cost to give the dress a little more oomph. Aside from that maybe had it taken in a little on the side or in the corset but I can't recall. I know it wasn't major but for transparency I do believe I had those two parts taken in a bit.
