The Dress

Vintage classic ivory Ritva Westenius design created in beautiful top quality fabrics.
You can feel the difference when you wear it. You won’t want to take it off.
Cost about £2,000 when purchased but would estimate to be over £3,500 to purchase in 2022.
In separate parts so can more easily be adapted to fit.
(1) Fitted corset back bodice so can be let in/out as needed.
(2) Full flowing multi-layered ball gown skirt. Wonderfully fluid so no rigid hoops etc. Great movement flow, especially when swirling!
(3) Very long train that is detachable, so great for the ceremony and can then be removed for the evening. You could even shorten the train and create a bolero style overlay or sleeves etc if you wanted to.

I also have a veil that was made to a length to match, discreetly scattered with small crystals to catch the light, which I can include if you wish to have it.

Alterations

The shoulder straps were shortened as I am only 5’2” in height.
The skirt was shortened, again due to height. It is fair to say that if you want to slightly amend the skirt style, you could insert fabric to the under layers to drop the fullness down a little, if you prefer it to skim your hips in a more streamlined manner.
