The Dress

Her craftsmanship is second to none and I couldn't have been happier with the final product.

Size:
This dress was custom-made therefore it does not have a tag size. I have listed a size 6 (AUS) as it would be closest to a 6-8 size in a standard dress measurement. Please note as this is a custom made gown, it has not been made to standard size.

Measurements are as per below:
Bust = 85cm
Waist = 66.5cm
Hips = 80cm
Bum = 88.5cm
Length (from top centre of cleavage/sweetheart to floor at front) = 127cm

I usually wear a size 6-8 dress depending on the brand, and wear a 10D bra size.
I am 168cm tall and I wore 3 inch heels with this dress.

Details:
Forget tacky sequins on your special day. If you are looking for a glamorous, elegant gown then hand-beading is the only way to go. This bodice is hand-beaded and fully-boned . The dress is a sweetheart strapless style made from Ivory Satin and has an in-built tulle layer sewn into the skirt to help it fan out. (No additional hoop skirt was worn in the pictures however for a fuller effect you could certainly add one.)

The dress does up with a single zip and is finished with a train of material buttons down the center of the back.
(these are purely visual only, they do not require buttoning up).

This gown's design was inspired by Lazaro Wedding Gowns. Lazaro's style is elegance at its best, showcasing beautiful Italian beading in elegant and structured form. The Lazaro beaded collection starts from $4,000 RRP, which was above my budget. When hunting for the perfect dress with beading I was unable to find anything off the rack. This is the reason I opted for a custom-made gown.

The dress cost RRP $3300.00.

Please note: The beaded cuff worn on the hand in the pictures is NOT included.

The dress was completed by the dressmaker in August 2014, and worn the same month.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at a cost of $180.00. There are no marks or stains on the dress and it is in wonderful condition.
