The Dress

Sottero & Midgley Zelinda ball gown. It is Ivory lace over champagne tulle. The back has a zip which is then covered by buttons. The dress has great built in support with the help of an elastic closure inside to ensure it remained secure throughout the day.

I purchased the dress in late 2016 for my August ‘17 wedding. It has had slight alterations made to the length and bust.
The dress is a bridal size 20 but at the time I was between a 16/18 standard uk sizing. The alterations made bring it closer to the 16 mark. The dress also had a ‘wrist band’ which was added inside in order to hook the dress up and make moving around easier when needed. The dress has been tried on recently and still fits pretty perfectly to my measurements listed.

The dress has been returned from dry cleaning as of 09/09/21.

It does also come with attachable straps but will need to have fastenings added as I didn’t use them.

The dress has a slight snag on the under layer of tulle but it is not noticeable unless you know it’s there!

Alterations

Alterations have been made to the length of the dress. Made to be floor length for myself. (I am 5”6 and wore 3” heels.) it has also had the bust taken in at the seems both sides. I would say the dress could comfortably fit between a 36-40 band and a C-DD cup but could easily be adjusted with minor alterations.
