The Dress

Brand new Rivini Reagan Dress. Never worn due to COVID cancellation. Purchased in May 2021.

Floral lace embroidered strapless ball gown with plunging v-neck.

About Reagan:
This dress was my dream dress...a classic ballgown yet totally unique. I went to about 20 wedding dress boutiques and tried on about 100 dresses. Rita Vinieris, the designer, told me that this dress was inspired by the tranquil floating markets in Thailand. I can see the inspiration shine through this gorgeous dress. The pointed sweetheart plunging neckline sets the dress a part from standard sweetheart necklines. The embellishments are subtle yet special. The floral applique is beyond any dress I have ever seen. The fabric moves with the body in perfect harmony. The sheer fabric adds a romantic feel while not being see-through like some other dresses. If you are looking for a ballgown but don't want the typical "princess" look, this dress is for you. This dress felt perfect for me. It was everything I was looking for and more. I felt unique as I have never seen a design quite like this before. Although I never wore this dress due to COVID, I hope someone will make beautiful memories in it.

Fit:
The dress fit great without alterations, but I ended up getting it fitted a tiny bit. My tailor told me that it would be easy to let it out if needed a bit bigger. The color on the tag says “Ivory” but I feel that it’s more of a true white.

Alterations

Raised the hem for my body; 5' 2" wearing 3" heels. Also took in the bust a tiny bit. Minimal alterations were done.
