The Dress

Lovely A-line gown with illusion bodice finished with lace. See through high back with zipper and buttons. Sits nicely in at the waist and the neckline creates a great sweetheart shape. Comfortable and easy to dance around in, also in the heat it was fine as it's very lightweight so doesn't weigh you down throughout the day (we got married on a hot day in August!). Fitted bodice with added bra cups for nice shaping. Skirt starts high enough that you can eat as much as you want in the day and it won't be visible! This means sitting and standing is very easy to do. Also looks great with an additional ring under the skirt if you want it to look more like a ballgown.

Matching veil included (never used).

Alterations

Taken in at the waist to fit size 8-10, sweetheart neckline raised (sheer top piece shortened) to create a better chest line, train reduced so still floats behind but doesn't get in the way/help with dancing, shortened dress (to fit me as 5ft 4 with my high heels on), small tear at end of train has been sewn back together with invisible thread and barely noticeable. Bra cups have been put in meaning the shape is great without needing to use a bra.
