The Dress

This listing is for my 100% silk Cheryl wedding dress, by London designer Kate Halfpenny.

Size UK 10. The only tailoring I had was bringing it in slightly around my chest, as I have a small bust. I didn't take anything off the length - I'm a 5'8" and wore 2.6" heels. I got married in August 2021 and the dress has been dry cleaned.

The Cheryl dress was originally made for Cheryl Cole! It's a beautiful high neck, backless gown in a silk material. It ties at the top of the neck or alternatively you can cross over the straps at the front of the waist.

Kate Halfpenny's designs have become more and more popular over the last few years, with Millie Mackintosh, Binky Felstead, Vogue Williams, Meggan Grubb and Alex Light all chosing her for their wedding dresses!

I honestly felt incredible wearing this dress on my wedding day, it was the perfect combination of timeless chic elegance with a modern twist. The fabric was insanely flattering and caught the light beautifully. It was also incredibly comfortable and breathable, and I was able to dance freely all evening (as well as throw a few questionable poses during the day as seen in these photos...)

I bought the dress in 2021 for £3,250 (for clarity, this is the 100% silk version of the Cheryl dress, and the satin version currently retails at £2,500).
