The Dress

This is a beautifully designed , comfortable dress that I loved wearing. The base colour is sand l/ blush with ivory tule over the top and long lace detail that is very sliming. The dress is a label 18 however I usually wear a high street 12/14. I am 5’ 10” and wore a pair of matching 3 inch size 8 U.K. sparkly heels (which I will also sell if requested and can send pictures) so there is plenty of room for height alterations. Only one inch was taken up at the front and nothing off the train. The dress has a beautiful layer of secret sparkle (tule covered in subtle sequins) so it shimmers when you move. The bodice is boned and is very flattering for women with curves…. Like me! The dress skims your hips so there is lots of room for food and wine on the day. I was able to easily get in and out of the car, and sit comfortably at dinner with no restrictions. It has a lovely plunge neckline and the back fastener was changed from lace up to a zipper with buttons to give it a more classic look. There are some tiny marks on the underside of the train (will send pictures upon request) however these have mostly dry cleaned out and nobody will see them are they are under layers of tule.

Alterations

Alteration on bust to come down to a
size 34/36 DD, slight shortening of the shoulder straps and about 1 inch taken off front length, nothing taken off train. One layer of net removed from the dress to make it a slimmer fit and less puffy, but there is room for a petticoat if you wanted the fuller skirt back.
