The Dress

I absolutely loved this dress!!! I love how simple/classic yet stunning it is. It fit like a glove and the fabric is very comfortable and has some give to it. It is too beautiful to not be worn again!

There are cups sewn into the dress (easily removable if preferred). There is beige mesh in both side V's of the dress and the front V neck. I had it altered to move the mesh up higher in the front V than the original dress, so this can also certainly be adjusted. I had the straps altered at the top to be tighter and there is extra fabric in the top of the straps that can make it looser if needed. I also had the bodice altered to be tighter, and there is also some extra fabric in the back of the bodice as well to make looser if needed.

There are buttons down the back of the dress along the zipper, could easily have more added or remove any.

The dress came with netting (called horse hair) sewn into the back/bottom of the dress that is under two layers that gave it a little flare out as well, but could be removed if preferred. I choose to alter to get rid of the full train to avoid the hassle/cost of a bustle and kept a baby train. I have no regrets doing this. The length was altered to my height 5'5 with 1 inch shoes in the front, and it is slightly longer in the back which you can see in the photos.

I had the dress professionally dry cleaned and it looks fantastic. If you look very up close on the very bottom/back of the dress, there are some minimal faded dirt spots that were cleaned out but you can see slightly if you're about 1-2 feet away from the bottom of it. I would say it's comparable to what the bottom of a wedding dress looks like after having on for about 1-2 hours on a wedding day. You do have to look pretty hard to notice, especially given how the back of this dress flows/lays with the netting/flare it has. It's minimal enough that it shouldn't deter you from considering if you love it!
