The Dress
This dress is very flattering, especially with the V-neck top portion and the lace layer over a sheath layer. The back is not lined, creating an elegant look. The lace pattern is beautiful! The dress is straight and lightweight - I found this look far more flattering than dresses with a lot of structure and large gowns. It's perfect for an outdoor wedding - sophisticated but not over the top. The V-neck is classy, not too deep.
The dress bustles to easily move around. I changed to a short dress when the party started, so the dress is in great condition.
Alterations
The dress was fitted to my body. I tend to be a size 4-6 on top and 2-4 in the hips and thighs. This dress has room to be altered if you wear a size 4 or less. I added in padded cups in the chest that can be replaced with non-padded cups if you want a straight look. I added a ~2 inch sheath over the V-neck in the chest that may be removed. I ordered a size 8 because we closed the bottom of the initial deep V, so the label size is closer to a size 6.
