About the Dress

Exquisite silk dress designed by Catherine Rayner in 1997. I love this dress so much and truly felt like a princess wearing it.
The dress features a beautifully fitted bodice which fastens in the back with silk covered buttons. It has a flowing skirt that bustles and there is a crinoline underskirt that makes sure that the dress keeps its shape. There is a silk bow at the back of each hip. The crinoline veil seen in the photos is included.

One of Rayner's wedding dress designs from 1996, a pale pink strapless dress, is included in the Victoria and Albert Museum's fashion collection in London, and was featured on the poster for their major Wedding Dress exhibition in 2014.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and packed in a beautiful wedding box (included). Also included are 4 extra buttons. It was purchased at the Saks Fifth Avenue Bridal Salon in New York, NY.

(Please note: the dress size is approximate and may not reflect what is on the tag. The dress is preserved and packed. My best guess is it would be a 0-2, but without opening the box, I am unsure. I am 5' 1.5" and petite. If you are interested in purchasing it and would like me to open the box, please let me know.)
