About the Dress

Prunelle Pronovias Designer Wedding Dress.
Purchased from Barcelona Boutique in 2015. We eloped, so we had to get a dress off the rack, with no appointment they kindly let us in, this dress original size may be around a 12-14.
I had this fitted and taken in. I am usually a 10-12 with size 12B/C bust.
However due to time constraints they padding the bust out, and it was not a snug fit so I would believe this would be around a size 12, with generous bust and room to take in still.
Unfortunately we were island hopping to Santorini to elope, so I did not have time to have the Pronovias seamstress to do the hemming, which meant I had to have the drycleaner in Santorini adjust the hem and the front of the dress is a little short, which almost has a high low/ part shoe/ankle showing effect, but the train is super long and there is plenty room for adjustment.
I am 5"3 but I was wearing 12-14cm heels. I liked the front opening so I could walk without tripping.
The cut is fitted bodice with fishtail skirt. Backless. Sheer mesh bodice with hand Lace detailing.
There is a petticoat with hoop which I didn't wear. Obviously worn once, and I only wore it for the ceremony as I changed for our reception.
This dress has quite a story and had quite an adventure around the world I would love for it to continue bringing joy to someone else =)
