The Dress

Ethereal, nature-inspired ivory/ mocha beautiful wedding gown. I absolutely loved wearing this dress. It felt unique and extremely special whilst being very comfortable to wear which was very important to me.

It has several layers to the skirt and one layer is covered in a fine shimmer and the way the skirts fall from the bodice is very flattering and also contains secret pockets!! The dress is covered in fine embroidery of flowers and leaves, decorating with sequins and tiny beads.

The bodice is lightly boned and the top includes supportive cups meaning a bra is unnecessary. I would never go braless usually but I felt really well supported and danced the night away without a worry. The straps are very fine and there's embroidered tulle draped over over your upper arm. I loved this and found it very flattering as I prefer to not show this part of my arms.

The dress is fastening with a short row of delicate buttons and a short zip (which my bridesmaids really appreciated!).

There is a dramatic train which added to the overall ethereal feel to this dress but a loop has also been added within the skirt which allows the train to be elegantly ruched and fixed which makes dancing easier. There is also a wrist loop which is even better!

This dress has been expertly cleaned by a specialist and there is some extremely light wear to the inner lining which is not visible when the dress is worn.

Alterations

The dress was altered to support my chest and the skirt was shortened (both in line with my measurements, above). A loop was added to allow the skirt to be ruched up while dancing.
