The Dress

Sparkly gown with a striking shape, with a deep plunging v-neckline made of a fully embroidered lace and clear beads and crystals over a nude base fabric to resemble sparkling ripples of water over sand.

Galia Lahav's 1009 mermaid silhouette is
made of a sparkly beaded net and a romantic appliqué of lace in a two-toned
Nude and Ivory combination.

The gown has a glimmer that isn't bright like
a sequin, but rather a shimmer. The fabric
has a forgiving stretch and is easy to move in.

This dress is the only size 42 currently listed and has a temporary hem designed to be easily removed, I am 5 ft 4 and wore 4 inch heels with the dress although the original length of the material is still intact. I wore the dress for my ceremony and pictures and had it professionally cleaned according to Galia Lahav’s instructions and will include the Galia Lahav GALA dress carry case and tags. This dress is in exceptional condition with the only visible flaw being a tiny mark on the inside of the bottom hem.

Alterations

I requested all alterations be temporary so they can easily be removed to restore the dress to its original measurements. Alterations include a temporary hem to fit a height of 5 ft 8 in, form fitted around the bust with temporary darts, a hand loop added to hold the train to facilitate walking and the straps were shortened and can also be easily let out. The dress is stretchy so it can accommodate sizes slightly larger and smaller than my measurements.
