About the Dress

This dress is a bespoke, one of a kind Pronovias gown. This Alauda gown is from from the 2020 collection.

The material of the gown is a soft stretch crepe in Ivory.

The original dress, off the rail, featured a full illusion tulle back with classic floral lace appliqués and beading (pictured)

I decided I wanted to take away a portion of the back to create the open back dress that I wore on my wedding day. This lace and embroidery moves onto the waist and around the side of the bust to give it a sexy feel as well as being classically elegant.

I felt beautiful and confident in this dress and it was incredibly comfy to wear all day. I’m selling as I’d love somebody to experience the happiness this dress gave me on my wedding day, on theirs.

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned so is clean and ready to be posted. It will just need to be pressed to release any creases it has developed in storage.

Please note, a few beads have come away in the dry cleaning process but this is minor and not noticeable. Apart from this the dress is immaculate. I’ve priced the gown accordingly.

Alterations

-Removal of some lace on the back to create open V back
- taken in at the hips
- taken out slightly on the sleeves
- buttons added all the way to end of the train
