The Dress

The Eden wedding gown in ivory, a classic Jenny Packham design that was brought back in the capsule collection. A trailing simple tulle veil is included, original RRP of veil £114. I have never loved wearing anything as much as this dress! It is beautiful. There is a form fitting satin slip underneath, cut on the bias, so it is extremely forgiving. The top layer is a mesh with stunning beading and sequins all over it. There are almost tear dropped shaped capped sleeves and it is V-neck. It is pinched in slightly at the waist and just hangs loose for an effortless chic look.

The way the fabric moves needs to be seen/ worn to fully appreciate how etherial it is. This is a 1920's vintage style with modern touches.

It has been professionally dry cleaned with Terrington Burchett. Though I was desperately careful with it there are a few beads on the hem missing. This can be easily rectified with a dressmaker. It has been properly stored in acid-free paper.

Alterations

It is 151cm from shoulder to floor, 65cm around the waist and 108cm from waist to floor at the front with the back slightly longer. Some fabric was gathered to make it shorter at the waist, which could be let out to make slightly longer.
