About the Dress

What makes this dress unique?
This dress was purchased from a vintage bridal boutique making it a one of a kind, classic and irreplaceable dress. Like many brides, I searched for my 'perfect' dress for many months; I simply could not find anything that had such a beautiful white lace exterior, especially around the top of the dress above the chest as featured in the pictures.
Additionally, the train of the dress is just a perfect length (in my opinion); not too long and not too short.

How did you feel in the dress?
I felt so comfortable in this dress. The interior is lined with an ivory silk material and the lace is soft and delicate so it didn't scratch me at all. At the ceremony, the train of the dress and my veil created a very classic bridal picture. At the reception, I pinned up the train and it was the perfect cross between classic, vintage and bohemian, matching the theme of the reception perfectly. I honestly felt like the most beautiful girl in the world on my special day!

How did the dress fit?
The dress fits me more loosely around the chest area and fit perfectly around the waist, and legs. The lace around the arms fit like a glove. There is scope for the dress to be worn by somebody with a larger chest than me (please refer to the measurements).

Be honest about the condition & any flaws
There are some minor tears in the lace along the train. I was not able to notice them until after my wedding day however there is the possibility they existed before I got the dress. They are not noticeable when the dress is on but worth keeping in mind. There are no stains visible on the dress & I have had it dry cleaned and ready to go for the next bride to be!

I hope this dress can be re-used by somebody else who feels like the most beautiful bride on their special day.

Alterations

I had the middle of the dress taken up as it was initially slightly too long for me and the lace around the bottom can't be altered.
I also had the chest area taken in and the tops of the arms (around the shoulders) taken up.
