The Dress

Augusta Jones Ali lace wedding dress size 8.
Size 8. I am 5 foot 4, I wore small heels. I am 29 inch waist, 30 inches under bust, cup size B.
Current retail price new is £1,760 I am selling at such a low price because I am moving house and need to clear space, not because there is anything wrong with the dress.

The dress is off white ivory, it has a heavy, high quality feel. It feels secure and comfortable. It falls really nicely as the lace is very soft. Has a net underskirt, a satin layer and then a lace top layer. The bust is shaped. It has a long train, around 50cm, with scalloped lace edging at the bottom. The train hooks up onto a button at the back for easier dancing at the reception. It hangs close to the body until hips then widens out and flows into the train. There is a zip at the back which goes half way up then there are lace covered small buttons that continue up above the zip to the base of the neck. The bottom button is missing. There is a small dark smudge on the inside of the train at the back that didn't come out after dry cleaning 1cm x 2cm, it doesn't show from the outside and is shown in the photo.

Comes with the original belt (satin ribbon and silver sequin buckle that connects at the front), and also comes with little sleeves that extend to elbow to change look between ceremony and reception. These originally had little tiny poppers but I removed these from the dress side but are still present on the sleeve side, so if you wish to use the sleeves you'll need to sew on little poppers.

I'm happy for you to collect if you can come to Cardiff to pick up, otherwise I'll send it to you and that will cost £11 for careful packaging and postage.
