The Dress

Madison James MJ510 altered by Brides by Design in Perth. The scrolled detailing and lace were the highlights of this dress. I wore the dress for about 5 hours and felt amazing in it. It is in pristine condition and I have dry cleaned it at Stannards bridal dry cleaners.

The lace overlay is ivory and the underlay is a sand colour which makes the lace detail really stand out and shows the true detail. The buttons on the back lead all the way down to the bottom of the train. The train has gorgeous scalloped edges. The spaghetti straps have beautiful beading which adds a nice touch of glam. It has a three point bustle to allow you to bustle the train prior to heading to the d floor.

Alterations

I had the neckline of the dress taken up slightly to form a sweetheart neckline which differs from the original Madison James MJ510 which has a more open neckline.
I had the dress hemmed and the train slimmed down slightly (I am 158cm tall and wore 8cm heels). I am normally between an AU size 4-6 (generally size 4 tops and size 6 pants). I had the dress tapered to fit my measurements as above.
