The Dress

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of me wearing it due to a computer hard drive failure… so as the dress no longer fits me I borrowed a friend. The measurements therefore have been taken from the dress, so please take them as approximate!

Dress was bought new and worn once - it’s a really heavy silk dupion, fully lined and boned, and cut on the bias so it drapes really prettily. It also has inserts so no bra is needed, with some padding for a bit of extra va va voom!

There is a button on the back shown in the pictures which hides into the seam, but can be used to button the train up as shown. There’s also a ribbon sewn in for hooking around your thumb or finger.

As it has been worn and not cleaned yet, there are some marks to tell you about. There are some light marks inside the hem (not visible on the outside of the skirt) and also under the arms. If you’re interested but want to see if these will clean out before buying the dress, please do reach out.
