The Dress

Gorgeous ballgown style dress, with sweetheart, strapless neckline, swarovski crystal detail on the bodice and soft, flowing full skirt.

As soon as I tried this dress on it blew me away - I actually hadn't been looking for a ball gown style but when the bridal consultant put this on me, I instantly fell in love!

The dress feels beautiful on and photographs incredibly well, perfect for creating dramatic wedding shots. In fact, one of my wedding photographs was featured as the cover image on the annual 2014 'Sydney Wedding' magazine.

The dress has a strapless, sweetheart neckline, with a lace up back. The bodice is hand embroidered and features swarovski crystals which gives some glamour but not over the top 'bling'. There is further crystal detail as the bodice meets the skirt part of the dress. The skirt volume is more 'gentle' than many typical ballgowns as the skirt is very soft and gradually fills out to full volume with many light layers. There is a soft, manageable length train which can be buttoned up as the day goes on and you want to start dancing.

It is very comfortable to wear and the lace up back means it is easier to personalise to your sizing. I am quite petite in my top half and this dress nicely accentuated my waist and bust. Length wise, the dress was altered to suit me - I am approx 165cm tall, and was wearing heels approx 8cm.
