The Dress

Elegant, classic, timeless style gown that I felt beautiful wearing on our wedding day in December 2018.

This dress fit me like a glove. The bodice has delicate beadwork of rhinestones and pearls which adds that touch of glamour a bride desires.

It was so perfect for me and is a truly flattering style. The off the shoulder cap sleeve with fitted bodice exentuates natural curves and ensures you will not have to pull up the dress during your day because it stayed put! It was actually comfortable to wear for the entire day. The A line skirt has multiple layers of chiffon over lay for a gorgeous silouette and train that was easily bustled for dancing and twirling about.

Alterations

The dress is a size 10, but was taken in some to fit my typical size 6 pant size. The alterations were done by a talented seamstress who took great care to preserve the beading on the bodice.

- side seams taken in some to fit 29" waist, while still supporting a 34D bra size
- bra cups sewn in, though easily removable
-shoulder seams taken up ~1"
-skirt hemmed to appropriate floor length for 5' 3" stature while wearing 2 1/2" heel.
- bustle loops sewn in.
