The Dress

This was the dress I didn't think of choosing. However, I immediately fell in love with the intricate designs on the lace and how it used bold yet delicate accents to accentuate certain features of your form. Each design of the lace were perfectly harmonized together. I brought this dress to two tailors and both said that this dress is very unique and stands out. If you need to take it to be hemmed, I definitely recommend someone who knows how to work with the lace to keep the integrity of the design.

It has built in cups for the breasts. The fabric is forgiving with minor weight changes and the designs on the lace distract and cover over it if you happen gain about 3-7 lbs like I did. Originally, I wanted the dress more fitted to my figure but reflecting back on my wedding, I realized that the comfort of my dress helped me to focus on the more important memories. This dress made me feel regal, femmine, unique, romantic, and yet, playful. I knew this was the dress for me when I asked my friend, "Do you see me eating tacos in this?" she happily said, "Oh yes". I have gone to David's Bridal and have been wow'ed by other dresses similar and more extravagant than mine, but realize that dresses should enhance our natural beauty and personality without breaking the bank. This dress did that and I hope it does the same for you on your wedding day.

Alterations

It was originally size 10. The sides were taken in and length was hemmed at the foot but I kept the length of the goregeous train. I added a modesty panel and a bustle.
