Super elegant but a bit sexy too, and really flattering because of the quality of the materials. The mix of lace and crepe is gorgeous, and the crepe is stretch, making it so comfortable to wear all day and dance in all night! Comes with a beautiful (removable) thin silk belt strap, which finishes it off perfectly. Bought end 2019 for £1600.

Designer website description: Lace and crepe gown accentuated with placed lace that creates a breath-taking, asymmetrical pattern. The lace from the semi-sheer bodice continues slightly onto the gown’s crepe skirt and is repeated near the hem and up the front. The back of this gown is open and highlighted on either side with organic lace. Visible seaming shapes the body down the back of the skirt before extending into a slight train, complete with [subtle] sparkling details. The dress has been beautifully dry cleaned by the boutique. Whole dress came out perfectly, including the train - not surprising as I held it completely off the ground whenever outside!

With the dry-clean package I bought a gorgeous storage box (which you can have free) – as you can see the dress has been very carefully folded by professionals and layered with scented tissue, ready for its next big day. I also kept the dress bag, for you to use when you get it steamed / pressed before the wedding.

I chose a simple, cathedral length veil with matching lace trim at the edges and around the train, which complemented the dress beautifully. Let me know if you’re interested in this too.

Alterations

Small piece of the same lace added between the bust to provide a bit more coverage for the central cleavage, as shown in photo. Added 2 x discreet loops at the back of the dress for bustling/hooking up for dancing – I’ve attached a video of the bustling so you can see how skillfully it was done! Finally, my seamstress trimmed the pokey bits of lace from around the train edges for a cleaner finish.
