The Dress

The Leon is a beautifully beaded, timeless and elegant gown I wore on my wedding day. I couldn't stop smiling the entire day wearing this dress, I honestly felt so feminine and so beautiful!

I loved the neckline that was contrasted with a really low back - I am petite in the front, so showing my back made me feel sexy, yet still so elegant for our refined coastal wedding.
This full length gown is covered in hand-sewn beads, and it photographed so stunningly. Some of my favourite photos are because of how the sunlight reflected off the beads, creating a gorgeous sparkle effect - that wasn't a filter!
The lining of the dress was comfortable and stretchy, so I felt completely comfortable and at ease throughout the day. While it also meant that I could enjoy our delicious Italian feast at the reception, and dance the whole night through!

I'm still so incredibly happy that I chose this dress, in fact I didn't want to take it off! I know I will forever treasure the memories and images of this dress, and show them to my children one day for sure.
This dress was honestly perfect, I'll be a little sad to give it up, but I'm so thrilled to know it will live another life in someone's else's forever after.

Alterations

The Atelier suggested to purchase a size up, and so everything was taken in to make it fit my petite body (size 6). Waist, Hips and hem line was all adjusted, while we also added bust pads for a little extra support.
