The Dress

Bespoke hand made Suzanne Neville designer dress. I had this made and tailored by Suzanne Neville herself in the flagship Knightsbridge shop. It is Amerie but the skirt was made from layers of a delicate silk chiffon (this is more expensive) rather than the usual organza that Amerie is normally made with (which is stiffer) so it floats and is much lighter when you walk.

The bodice is made from silk crepe.

Has a tie up corset inside the bodice which is lined with satin and so is very soft and comfortable as it can be tied up as tightly as you want. The corset is not visible from the outside of the dress. You don’t need to wear a bra underneath.

The back is a v style with silk buttons (loophole) down the back.

There is a fine/ thin silk ribbon around the waist which is the same colour as the dress.

Worn once on our wedding day in 2021 as photographed, is in excellent condition. The dress was made in 2020 but specially stored in the shop until 31 July 2021 when I wore it (we postponed our wedding due to Covid which is why it was stored for a year).

I am a UK standard size 12.
