[2022 Spring Collection -- "Splendid"]

My personal favorite during wedding dress shopping & one of the most sought-after dresses at Monique Lhuillier! It's between ball gown and A-line. I purchased it after trying on a lot many other great brands including Vera Wang, Elie Saab and Galia Lahav. This particular dress is absolutely the best -not only poetic & romantic, but also super comfortable and versatile, which I will explain in the below.

Poetic & romantic: As you can see in the photos (credit: official website, my sales), the floral embroidery throughout the gown presents such a poetic look. Something more special, each applique was hand sewn onto the entire gown, according to the sales person I met.

Comfortable: My skin has been extremely sensitive to many fabrics since childhood. Luckily, the inner piece of this dress is made of 100% silk, and I almost cried when I first tried it on. Also, it's very light in weight as a ball gown/A-line!

Versatile: I also purchased the attached sleeves, so you can have 2 looks on your big day! By detaching the sleeves, the look will be more like an off-shoulder wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. It's great for the ceremony if you would like to have a more formal & traditional look in that occasion. By attaching the sleeves, it offers a look. Romantic, modern, unconventional... just like what's shown in the photos. This special look can be saved for your first look with the beloved ones, or the reception, if you'd like to amaze them with something different.

It was done by Bay Area's #1 bridal alterations boutique. They made some adjustments around the waist and the bust.
