The Dress

**Absolute show stopper**

My wedding gown was custom made by Joanna at Joanna Leigh Couture from Brigg, Lincolnshire.
Joanna has won many awards, and even featured in VOGUE.

After trawling through dresses in wedding shops and becoming increasingly unhappy because I couldn't say "yes to the dress", I found Jo who realised my dreams.
The silk is effortlessly glamorous and soft. The over-gown is like a sophisticated glitter ball.

You could never be disappointed be this gown, it is simply stunning. It is modern, classy, sophisticated, on-trend, minimal and really comfortable. I felt incredible!

It is a two part gown. A silk fitted gown, and a beaded lace over-gown.
One for the day, one for the evening!

Details
Britte is an ivory hand embroidered lace that has been formed by sequins and beads on a delicate mesh type base fabric. It has a silver thread running throughout, that really is eye catching.
The over-gown has two clear press-studs fastenings which are invisible, which cross over as the front. You will be astounded by the weight of the material, but you will be amazed how it doesn't feel like this on.

The Silk dress.
Has a square scooped neckline with a deep v back. The dress has a partly buttoned fastening, but buttons are fully stitched all the way down the train (handstitched by Joanna herself) There are bra inserts sewn into the front. I am around a size 32B standard U.K fitting. As you can see from the video it has a boned bodice.

The dress has been fully dry-cleaned. Will be pressed on sale.

I am 5ft 10 in height so the dress could be easily adjusted to a shorter height.
