The Dress

The Hart gown by the Melbourne label Chosen by One Day Bridal (now known as Chosen by KHYA) is a timeless, yet modern and stunning wedding dress.

Chosen by One Day Label size is Size 3 & their colour description is Natural.

The gown is made from luxurious ivory mikado silk. It features a beautifully structured v-line bodice, a show stopping v-shaped, sheer back detailed a hidden zipper & silk covered buttons atop this. The base of the gown is a soft a-line shape with a lovely flowing train.

It was a very comfortable dress, a fitted bodice yet still comfortable. Perfect for being able to enjoy all the food, drinks and dance the night away.

I am 164cm tall & wore shoes with a 9cm heel. I’m a pretty standard size 8, with bust size 12B/34B.

CONDITION:
I wore the dress on my wedding day in early 2021, it has since been professionally dry cleaned. There are no marks or stains of note. It will just require a good steam. Comes with original Chosen by One Day Bridal dress bag.

MEASUREMENTS:
Waist measurement references the waist line / seam line of the bodice of the actual dress.

Alterations

The dress has been altered to fit me, as below, I am a pretty standard size 8:

- breast line tapered & cups added, I’m a 12B/34B cup for reference.
- bodice boneing added
- removed the pockets, as the pockets could be seen through the dress in some light & also made the a-line shape smoother.
- hem adjusted to my height in heels
- a button & loop added, so the train can be hitched up for dancing later on.
