The Dress

This is a Galia Lahav dress - Gala-1010. I knew that I wanted a Galia Lahav dress from the start because they are made with very good quality materials, have stunning detail work, and are always flattering. They come with built-in shape-wear that makes you look amazing, while still feeling comfortable. I wore it for my wedding day in 2020 during our small COVID-wedding. I have since had it dry-cleaned and it is in perfect condition.
It features a 3-D embroidered tulle ballgown with a sheer corset. The tie-up corset back makes this dress really flexible for sizing -- anyone from a size 0 to a size 6 could wear this dress. The dress comes with the floral design straps, but they are detachable. So, the dress can be worn with off-the-shoulder straps or strapless.

Alterations

The dress was altered by a professional Galia Lahav seamstress. I am a 32B, 5'2" (but I wore 3-4 inch heels on my wedding day), and about 120 lbs. I also had the dress doubly lined with tulle below the bodice so that it is not sheer like the original dress on the website, but the bodice is still sheer.
