The Dress

I wore this for my wedding this past July and it's been dry cleaned and left in the Galia Lahav dress bag ever since. I absolutely LOVE this dress and got comments from everyone that they loved the dress and how beautiful it was! One of my favorite parts is how the organza material makes it look iridescent and sheer so it gives off a very romantic look. I'm more on the petite side but have a thicker waist so I wanted a dress that could really cinch my waist in and make me feel confident and beautiful (this did just that!)! I ordered the dress in the ivory color, size 42 with B cups but honestly they still felt like C cups (or a little bigger) to me but my stylist said some brands run larger so I just added some padding inside the cups to help fill the gap but you can always alter down or do the same. The dress comes with the off the shoulder silk tulle topper (picture 4) but I didn't wear it (actually never even tried it on because I wanted to keep the strapless look). There are some very minor damage to parts of tulle layer underneath where I accidentally stepped on when I was walking around before my dress was bustled. But it's not noticeable since it's underneath and there are many layers. There are also some minor scratches on the pearl buttons used for bustling but once again, not noticeable as the buttons are tiny and still clear/white underneath.

Overall I loved how the dress flowed and it wasn't too poofy and very light for how many layers there are. The thigh high slit adds a little sexiness but it really didn't show too much leg when I wore it throughout my wedding because all the layers kept the dress down and rarely does it fly up to show the slit unless it's very windy outside or you're taking very big steps. But the slit was fun and perfect for a lot of pictures we took. The last four pictures are my own pictures so you can see how the dress flows and the back train almost looks like it's floating on the ground and how beautiful the slit is in photos! The price includes all the alterations I had done to the dress which was close to $1k. Please reach out with any questions or for more photos!

Alterations

The length has been altered to fit the height of around 5'5" (with shoes on). I am almost 5''1" and wore 4.5" heels with this dress. Bustle has been added which includes three pearl buttons. I added one additional layer of chiffon to make it a little less see through (can be removed) but it's still a little see through and very light. Nude/tan colored cups were added in the bust area since it's see through and you need some type of lining there. I also had alterations lower the slit by a few inches but it was literally done with one thread and can be very easily removed.
