The Dress

This dress is Rosey by Made with Love in Pebble with a sheer bodice. I added on a side slit to the dress, which made the dress much easier to walk in! So glad I did.

There is an easily detachable overskirt that comes with the dress that is tulle, but not the Made with Love brand. I preferred this skirt because it has more weight to it than the Made with Love sheer skirt.

The train length is the same as when it was purchase. There were no alternations made there.

We got married in Mexico, and though we had our reception on the beach, there are no flaws and the conditions looks exactly as it did before the wedding.

The bridal shop that I ordered this dress from didn't have this dress in a sample, so I asked them to fly in a sample and it was the best decision I could have made. It is stunning and just makes you feel beautiful. And while the dress doesn't necessarily need the overskirt, I felt like it added a bit of drama. Plus two dresses in one!

I ended up getting to wear this dress twice because we had a reception at home when we returned. It was an absolute dream to wear this dress, and I hope a future bride can experience its magic too!

Alterations

The dress as taken in ever so slightly in the waist and the straps were taken up too so they wouldn't fall off the shoulders

I had purchased extra length for the dress, just in case (better to be safe than sorry :)) and it all had to be taken off. I am 5'8" and wore 2.5 inch heels for the wedding.

There are eyelets and clear snaps around the waist of the dress in order for the overskirt to be attached appropriately. Honestly, I was worried that you were going to be able to see them when the skirt wasn't on, but they are so small you would barely notice them.

There is also a French bustle (which was A LOT extra, but totally worth it) and will come with a color coded bustle map for the snaps.
