The Dress
I absolutely loved this dress. The upside of having a Covid wedding was that I got to wear it twice. Once for a 15 minute civil ceremony and again a year later for a full ceremony/reception.
The dress has been professionally cleaned and is now hanging in a garment bag.
As you can see in the video, the dress moves like a dream. At our reception, I was able to swing dance in it and it is wonderfully light and airy without having the downside of showing sweat marks as some silk dresses do.
There are one or two barely noticeable runs in the silk close to the bottom of the skirt as shown in the photos.
Due to the backless design, I needed to wear double-sided tape to hold up the front of the bodice.
Alterations
I had this dress taken in to fit my smaller cup size and had the train removed so that the dress is floor length all around.
