The Dress

This is a gorgeous, flowy strapless gown with a lace scalloped sweetheart neckline, flattering empire waist, and lace scalloped hemline. There are bead and crystal appliqués along the empire waistline. The underskirt has lace appliqués with a tulle overlay.

This was a perfect dress for a garden wedding! It has a classy, antique, boho kind of style to it. It was really comfortable and easy to move in.

All beading and lace is intact, though some areas of the lace on the hemline has some very slight discoloration on the underside, which is not visible when the dress is on. The last two photos are of the dress currently to see what the lace looks like when the dress is on.

Alterations

The length of the dress was shortened for my height of 5’5” while wearing flats. There is some extra length to it so it would probably hit right at the floor at a height of 5’7”.

The top was taken in for my bust and waist measurements.

A bustle was added. There are small elastic loops midway down the back of the train that attach to satin buttons on the waist.
