The Dress

For the modern bride who isn't afraid to be bold and sexy. Deep V on the front and open back, the dress fits like a glove with the quality that only Berta delivers. There are two layers to this dress - a nude underlay and a sheer top layer that is beaded and sequinned throughout. The dress also features Swarovski crystal-studded spaghetti straps.

This was the most stunning dress and made me feel so beautiful. Cannot recommend this dress highly enough. The beads and sequins glitter in the sunlight.

I bought this dress used from StillWhite, which had been bought new and then worn once by another bride. I am 5'2 and wore the dress with 4 inch platform heels. Please make sure the measurements fit you!

It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is in pristine condition.

Alterations

Alterations include:
- taking in the chest and butt.
- and adding a horsehair hem to make it easier to walk in. The horsehair hem makes the dress more mermaid shaped than trumpet-shaped as it splays the bottom of the dress more outward. It can make the hem of the dress stand up (see photo 5), but can be removed.
