The Dress

The dress:
Alex Perry Bridal Collection - Maddison
Corset style bodice with pleated A-line skirt.
Concealed pockets in skirt and dome fabric covered buttons line the centre back zip.

Main: 85% polyester / 15% silk
Lining: 85% polyester / 15% silk
Details: box pleats in skirt, silk buttons and pockets

Professionally dry cleaned in August 2022. In near new condition, with no marks.
Only worn for a few hours at the wedding ceremony, photos, and dinner. I changed out of the dress for the wedding party.

This truly was the dress of my dreams. It's modern and gives a cool-girl vibe which ticked all the boxes for me. The dress looked effortless and chic, and was perfect for my Italian wedding.

The dress is very light weight and super comfortable to wear. The hidden pockets came in handy!

Alterations

Alterations:
- Hem shortened (I am 165cm and wore a 7.5cm heel)
- Bodice taken in to fit me
- Straps shortened and switched to slightly wider straps for more comfort/chest stability
- Skirt width taken in slightly to reduce fullness

I purchased additional original Alex Perry fabric for the dress that will be sent with the dress to give flexibility for future adjustments/alterations for the next wearer.
