The Dress

Hi brides!

I am selling the beautiful Britney gown from Berta by Muse, the Sicily Collection, which retails at somewhere between $10,000 [removed], and which I wore for my wedding-turned-Covid-elopement in October 2021.

I purchased this gown at Designer Archives, a consignment store in Brisbane in December 2019. It was initially advertised for $5,500 AUD but was sold to a model a few days before my visit, who took it up 5cm, wore it for a photo shoot, and sold it back to the Designer Archives - who then sold it to me for $4,500 AUD because it has been altered - even though they said it can be let back down easily! I can provide screenshots of email correspondence for this if requested.

The gown fitted me like a glove so I didn’t make any further alterations. I wore it for around 5 hours and during the weird Footloose time when dancing was banned because of covid, so it’s in fab condition and has been dry cleaned. I felt incredible in it and have received a lot of comments about how unique it is.

I’m 178cm tall, slim and pear shaped, and I wore 4.5cm heels and it fit perfect. I would say the dress had a lot of room for more waist / bust, and could be worn by someone taller (esp if they are willing to let it down) or shorter (esp with proper heels), but probably wouldn’t work for a gal with wider hips as it was quite fitted on mine!
