The Dress

When I tried on this dress, I fell in love right away. I purchased it used, had some minor alterations done, but then ultimately I went a different direction and never actually wore it on my wedding day. The shoulder straps are about 1/2" wide. The bodice is laced beautifully with a delicate floral pattern and has subtle beads/pearls placed throughout. In the front, it has a unique sweetheart v-neck, which I absolutely love. A small piece of mesh fabric lays across the front bust, as well as underneath the arms, adding a special tastefulness and creating a romantic illusion effect. It is incredibly easy to step into this dress. It zips up in the back, and there is a row of buttons that run the length of the dress in the back. Those buttons close over the zipper so it's hidden underneath. The way the straps come together in a low back design is absolutely stunning and so flattering. And when it's time to step onto the dance floor, the dress can also be bustled. And on top of all that, the dress comes with pockets!

*Note: Since I purchased this dress used, the material inside the dress has an orange-ish stain, due to what I believe was the previous owner's spray-tan. There are no stains on the outside of the dress - the part that matters most :). The color doesn't rub off onto my skin or anything like that, so it's nothing but a friendly stain at this point. I just wanted to put it out there for the sake of transparency!

Alterations

- I had this dress taken in around my waist, but there is still a comfortable amount of breathing room.
- At the time I purchased the dress there was a missing clip in the back for the bustle, so I had the necessary alterations done to get that fixed.
- I had padded bra cups added!
