The Dress

I’ve decided to sell my dress so another bride can feel as stunning as I did! Originally bought brand new at the Wedding Shoppe in St Paul, MN last year, worn for my wedding on 9/17/22. Tailor added a 23-point French bustle for the reception, shortened the hem, straps, took in the waist, and added an additional piece of lace at the bottom of the zipper to cover some stitching. The dress is a size 6, I measured 6 in the bust and hips but an 8 in the ribs so I decided to just get a 6. I am 5’3” and wore 2.5” heels. A few buttons fell off but I have extras that I can give you! As far as I could tell, the lace was still intact throughout the dress. My favorite parts of the dress were the buttons that extend all down the train and the unique lace details. It has a hint of beading woven in the lace to add a small shimmer. The crepe fabric felt sophisticated and timeless; the dress was easy to wear and move around in and pull up for restroom trips! In total I paid nearly $3000 for the dress and alterations, and then had it cleaned and pressed at the dry cleaners after the wedding. The dress is currently listed for $2,749 on the Wedding Shoppe’s website. If you want the veil I will throw it in as well! I bought the veil off Etsy and wore for the ceremony and pictures. Covered buttons trail down to train I felt absolutely stunning in this dress all night! Everyone gushed over the beautiful train and the unique lace pattern. It was really easy to move in and made me feel timeless, sexy, and sophisticated. Also easy to pull up for restroom trips!

Alterations

Shortened to 5'5.5" hem line, I am 5'3" and I wore 2.5-inch heels. Straps were shortened, taken in at the waist. Additional piece of lace added near the zipper at the butt to hide some alterations.

Beautiful 23-point french bustle added to the dress (see photos). Instructions on how to bustle will be provided upon purchase, it only took 15 minutes to do the bustle just before the reception.
