The Dress

I tried on about 70 wedding dresses in total and this - Reem Acra's Rebecca style - was the only dress I fell head over heels for. I was determined to find a dress that looked exquisite but which would also allow me to feel really comfortable on my wedding day, in May 2015. Mission accomplished - I wore it for about 11 hours, felt my most beautiful but also so comfortable throughout, enjoyed an amazing meal and danced into the night with my new husband, family and friends (and, bonus, no one trod on it).

It's a gorgeous floor-length ivory tulle gown with a beautifully flared skirt, a fitted bodice, sheer, embroidered tulle over the breastbones and upper back, and slim grosgrain waist ribbon. I bought my wedding dress brand new from Browns Bridal in London. The dress has been stored safely since my wedding, and dry-cleaned too so it is in excellent condition - the one reason I didn't *tick* excellent is because of a 2-inch tear in the tulle layer near the bottom (it is almost invisible because of the dozens of layers of tulle behind it and takes me ages even to find it - image available on request).

This was my wedding dress of dreams and it seems so wrong for it to hang in a wardrobe when someone else could get the joy out of it that I did. I adore this dress and want it to go to someone who will love it as much as I do!
