The Dress
The dress looks excellent. I did have the length shortened and also the train shortened. This allowed me to dance. I am a little over 5 foot 9 with heals. No alterations were made to the body but I did have some cups inserted which gave me a lot of support and I assume you would also like this addition however, if not they can be easily removed. I also had the straps shortened just a little and added hooks for bustling the dress.
The body of the dress is in perfect condition just tiny signs of wear on the train but nothing that would be obvious. Rest was professionally dry cleaned which cost several hundred dollars.
The dress is a beautiful thick silk - heavy fabric which means it looks luxurious and very high-quality in real life. Not to be compared with dresses from other main stream designers. There was a bow on the back which I removed for a more elegant look but will be sent with the dress.
