The Dress

This is a gorgeous Rebecca Ingram dress in ivory which I wore for my wedding day in August 2022. I only purchased the dress in March 2022.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned but does contain some small marks from my wedding day (please see video) but these are not bad. I have reduced the price of the dress to reflect this. As can been seen from the photos and video, the dress is creased, due to being sat in the dry cleaning cover in my wardrobe. However, the creases will come out when the dress is steamed. The silver/metal mark that can be seen in the photos and video on the back left-hand strap of the dress is from the dry cleaning tag which can be easily removed.

The belt is included with the dress but can be easily removed (see video). I wore the dress with my veil (which was very detailed/textured and very long - see profile picture) and jewellery during the day of my wedding but I removed the belt, my veil and changed my jewellery for the evening of my wedding so I had a different look.

The veil is not included but I am open to selling this separately.

The dress does have a small blue bow/ribbon sewn in on the inside which was my something blue. It cannot be seen when wearing the dress.

The train of the dress can be held up via a ribbon on the inside which goes over your wrist or it can be clipped up via the buttons on the back of the dress.

On my wedding day I received numerous comments from my guests as to how classy, elegant and glamorous they thought my wedding dress was.

Alterations

Alterations were made to the bust area, sides, hip area, length and straps (which were thinned). Padding was also added to the bust area for support (I didn’t need to wear a bra on my wedding day).

My hips usually fit into a size 12 with my bust and waist around a size 10 so the dress was altered accordingly.
