The Dress
This Berta dress is more of an off-white than a bright white.
There are about 4-5 layers beneath the tulle exterior that give it a nude appearance when it is off the body, but it appears whiter when the dress is on.
It is truly a work of art - so much intricate beautiful detail and various fabrics used to create a very unique piece.
There is NO SILK in this dress - I have a silk allergy so we made sure.
Alterations
All alterations were made with Berta's seamstress in-house
Dress was taken in slightly in the corset area to be more supportive
The cups fit, but were too demi-cut, so we added a small amount of fabric just above to give a more fuller look and for more shape
We created a tulle out of the train which is shown in a few pictures, but we cut it to be easier to walk for the rest of the night so it was all one length
The bustle is not too poofy
