The Dress

defines this A-line wedding dress
highlighted by a sweeping chapel
train. With delicate nude shorts underneath all hand embroidered.

I absolutely loved this dress. It is tulle in material with the most gorgeous hand embroidered designs up the entire dress with the most feminine yet sexy shorts underneath. The slit goes all the way showing off those beautiful shorts. With it bustled it was the most fun dress to dance in! Very romantic all around. It actually has my name printed on the inside label (this is a new design feature, I’ve been told).

I wore the dress for such a short amount of time, max 5 hours and nothing was spilled on it. The bottom got dirty which is to be expected but it was professionally dry cleaned and looks incredible. Galia Lahav dust bag included.

Alterations

- Waist was slightly taken in, less than an inch.
- Silk lining added to cups to help with the tulle rubbing on the skin.
- Underneath shorts elastic removed so as not to be “tight”.
- Non-push up cups added just simply to cover.
- Semi-sheer fabric (ordered directly from designer) added. I made this removable in case I changed my mind day of. The original form of the dress is sheer. So if you are more conservative, the semi-sheer fabric underneath will be perfect and if not, it can easily be removed.
-Dress was hemmed and bustle hooks added.
