The Dress

I purchased this dress new from a Bridal shop in Chicago, and absolutely fell in LOVE with it. I loved how sophisticated, timeless, and glamorous it is. On my wedding day, I felt like an absolute princess, and the photos of the dress turned out INSANELY gorgeous. I loved how the dress was so elegant, but also simple at the same time.

Another big reason I chose this dress is because of how flattering it is - It has a form fitting, structured upper bodice, which cinched in and emphasized my waist.

It was also incredibly comfortable. It was important to me that I didn't spend my wedding night "sucking in" for photos, AND I wanted to eat all of my delicious wedding food comfortably, and the A-line style of the dress allowed me to feel at ease doing just that. :)

Alterations

Dress was altered in the bodice area to fit appropriately. I also had the dress bustle added (I had the option to do a high bustle and a low bustle. I chose a low bustle with two loops. I had the option to order the dress with different train lengths. I went with the longest length train (I wanted this dress to be a *moment*!), but it is also possible to shorten the train if you'd like to have it altered to be shorter!

The front of the dress was also altered to my height with my 2.5 inch heels on (I'm 5'4 and ~5'6 with heels)
